Youth Ministry for High School Teen Masses

As part of our Small Christian Communities, the freshmen groups will plan an at home liturgy. The facilitator will schedule a time with one of the parish priests to come to their home during the year and celebrate a mass which the teens have planned. Some of the things they plan for their mass include prayers, petitions, music, and art and environment. The teens get to experience mass as the early Christians did in their homes.

The sophomore groups plan the liturgy for one of our 12:15 Teen Masses at the church. They will also participate in greeting, hosting, and lectoring whenever possible. All high school students are encouraged to attend as many of the 12:15 Teen Masses as possible.

Listed below are masses that have special emphasis on the youth of the parish:

Every Sunday - 12:15 pm Teen Mass

October 27 & 28 2007 - Confirmation Recognition Mass

June 1, 2008 - Senior Graduation Mass & Reception (Mass at 9:00 a.m. with reception following)
