Why are we doing this? The WINGS events help you understand Catholic beliefs, practices and liturgical events – and weave them into your own life.
What happens there? Hands-on involvement in activities! We eat, we play, we pray, we listen, we talk, we learn, we have a great time!
Who comes? Everybody is welcome and there are specific activities for each age group, adult, teen, child, singles, couples, families. And, there are also intergenerational experiences so we can learn from and enjoy each other.
What’s in it for me? Liturgical events come to life, in a fuller, more understandable context, giving you the opportunity to live their meanings in your everyday life.
How long is it? Each WINGS event is planned for 2 ½ hours, which includes an opportunity to eat together, a special opening and closing event, and time for you to choose one or several participatory activities.
How much is it? There is a nominal cost for the food, typically around $7 for adults, $4 for children who eat, and approximately $5 for the take home “live-it” kit
