Service Ministry and Pastoral Care
Ministry to the Sick and Dying

HOME VISITATION
Parishioners visit the homebound to pray with them, be a listening presence, and share the Eucharist. Parish priests are also available for the Sacraments of Anointing of the Sick and Reconciliation. If you or someone you know is homebound and would like a visit from one of our Ministers of Care, call (630-355-4545, ext. 129 or 123) or e-mail (Anne Hillebrand or Margaret Huck) the Service Ministry and Pastoral Care Office.

HOSPITAL MINISTRY
Trained Ministers of Care bring comfort and reassurance to the parishioners at Edward Hospital by talking, listening, praying, and sharing Eucharist. St. Raphael ministers are scheduled to visit the hospital on Tuesdays and Fridays, choosing times at their convenience. If you or someone you know is hospitalized and would like a visit from one of our Ministers of Care, call (630-355-4545, ext. 129 or 123) or e-mail (Anne Hillebrand or Margaret Huck) the Service Ministry and Pastoral Care Office.

INTERCESSORY PRAYER GROUP
Members of this ministry pray for the needs of the community. To notify us of prayer requests, call (630-355-4545, ext. 129 or 123) or e-mail (Anne Hillebrand or Margaret Huck) the Service Ministry and Pastoral Care Office.

NURSING HOME MINISTRY
Parishioners visit with the residents of Alden Nursing Home to give them spiritual and social support. Volunteers share in the recitation of the rosary and bring the Eucharist to the residents. Parishioners also volunteer at Manor Care Nursing Home on Wednesday afternoons of each week. Trained volunteers lead communion services and distribute the Eucharist to residents. Ministers of care will also bring Eucharist to parishioners in any Naperville Nursing Home. If you or someone you know is residing in a nursing home and would like a visit from one of our Ministers of Care, call (630-355-4545, ext. 129 or 123) or e-mail (Anne Hillebrand or Margaret Huck) the Service Ministry and Pastoral Care Office.

FUNERAL LUNCHEONS
Following a funeral liturgy, parishioners may request a meal for their families and guests. Members of our faith community are "on call" to prepare food. There is no cost to parishioners for the meal.
