Eligibility: The food pantry can be used once every 30 days (approximately once a month) and is available for Lisle Township residents. In addition, there are food items from a major food chain (produce, bread, cakes, pies, etc.) that do not require an appointment and will be available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM for any client in need.

Road, Oak Brook A job search seminar is held alternate months beginning in January. The seminar is usually scheduled for the second Friday evening from 7 - 9 p.m. and continues on Saturday morning from 8:30 am - noon. The fee is $25 and pre-registration is required. This service is for people who have lost their jobs or are seeking a better one. Services include individual counseling assistance in the job search process, help in resume writing, etc. A bi-weekly job resource paper is also available. College and Career Information Center at College of DuPage Library
The Center offers an extensive reference listing of public and private companies and organizations. Any DuPage County resident (District 502) may utilize this resource and obtain a borrower's card. Lifetime borrower's cards may be obtained for $5.00 and photo I.D. at front circulation desk. The borrower's card is necessary only if you wish to take material out of the library. A full text base containing corporate and financial information for over 11,000 publicly owned companies is available through Hoover's Online, and Reference U.S.A. This is available on a first come basis. Printouts are available. Companies can be searched by classification (SIC Codes) or by geographical areas. Discover and Horizons Programs offer an opportunity to learn about occupations and colleges, as well as an insight into discovering one's self and what career might be most suitable. Questions? Computer training may be available from C.O.D. and job training programs. Financial aid may be available depending on circumstances. Information meetings held weekly Monday and Wednesday are required in order to receive vocational training.
