Grades 1 - 5

Within Religious Education

ST. RAPHAEL CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
Grades 1-5

Religious Education is a partnership between the family and the church.
Our goal is to together raise faith-filled children.

Day & Time

Choice of:
Sundays 4:15 - 5:30 or 6:30 – 7:45
or
Tuesdays 4:15 - 5:30 or 6:30 – 7:45

Location

Grades 1-5 meet in small groups of 6-10 children in the home of the catechist. A catechist is a volunteer parent who shares their faith with the children in his/her group.

What’s the family’s part in this partnership of raising faith-filled children?

  • Review the chapter that your child(ren) learns weekly.
  • Read the page your child(ren) brings home each week called, "Raising Faith-Filled Kids".
  • Support your child’s catechist by being the second adult in the home when you are scheduled.
  • PRAY together as a family at meal time and bed time.
  • Go to church together as a family.
