Sunday School Program
3 yr olds, Preschool, Kindergarten

Sunday School meets on Sunday mornings during Mass from 9:00-10:00 and from 10:45-11:45 at St. Raphael School. Registration is held in May and is limited to the classroom space available.

Children in 3 yr. olds must be 3 years old by September 1;
Children in Preschool must be 4 years old by September 1;
Children in Kindergarten must be 5 years old by September 1.

The Sharing God’s Story pre-school series was developed to stimulate imagination and creativity in children while exploring Bible stories with age appropriate and inviting resources. This series teaches:

• The Sign of the Cross-3 year olds
• The Lord’s Prayer-4 and 5 year olds
• Table prayers
• Bed-time prayers
• Love of God and Jesus.

This series helps the children:

• Play, work, and pray happily with others.
• Develop a sense of awe, wonder, respect, gratitude and stewardship for God’s creation.
• Develop a sense of community and worship.
• Know that God loves, protects and provides for them.
• Recognize that prayer is talking with God.
• Explore in active ways the Bible stories that form the Catholic Christian faith.
• Celebrate their place in God’s family.
