Reflection Questions of the Week |
Reflection upon the Word of God is vital to our lives as
Catholic Christians. Each week we present questions in this
column to help you to think about what you have heard in
the scriptures at Mass. Some people also like to prepare for
the upcoming Sunday Mass by reading and reflecting upon
the scriptures they will hear the next Sunday. We hope you find this
helpful. For adults . . . How do I understand Christ’s mission? How do I participate in Christ’s mission? How is participation in Christ’s mission a gift to me? To others? For children . . . How can I tell others about Jesus today? In today’s gospel, Jesus gives the gift of his Spirit to remain with his disciples always. The Holy Spirit bestows gifts upon us, Jesus’ disciples today, to build up the community. How am I using my spiritual gifts for the benefit of others? Where is Christ’s Spirit working in my life? The mystery of Divine Love expressed in the relationship of the Trinity is an example for our daily Christian living. |
