January 10 Natural Family Planning
With Natural Family Planning, both spouses are taught to understand the nature of fertility and work with it, either to plan a pregnancy or to avoid it. NFP is low-cost, drug-free, and endorsed by the Catholic Church. Our speaker, Karen Buchert, will give us an overview of this effective family planning system. Eucharistic adoration is a practice in the Roman Catholic Church in which the Blessed Sacrament is exposed to and adored by the faithful. But exactly what goes on during the adoration and why do we do it? April 24 Passing on the Creed: Handing our Gift of Faith to the Next Generation
As baptized Christians, we are called not only to live that faith, but also to pass it on. Rosie Owens will discuss the meaning of the Nicene Creed as a statement of belief and as an affirmation of a deep faith relationship with the Triune God. We will also look at the history and the content of the Nicene Creed as a personal and rich expression of faith.May 8 Learning Fun Over the Summer
