Adult Faith Formation CRHP (Christ Renews His Parish)

What is CRHP ?
The Christ Renews His Parish program centers around a renewal weekend which is a time to relax, pray, and rethink priorities. It is also a time to get to know other parishioners as well as an opportunity to examine, rediscover, and intensify relationships with Christ. It is a weekend of reflection, and a sharing of spiritual and real life issues.

What happens during the weekend?
On the weekend, you will have the opportunity to listen and discuss how other parishioners of our Faith Community live their faith in the modern world.

When and where do these weekends take place?
One men’s and one women’s weekend are held annually, usually in the spring. They are conducted at the parish.

Who may attend?
CRHP is open to all St. Raphael parishioners age 18 or older.

How long does the weekend last?
The weekend begins at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday and concludes in the afternoon on Sunday. Saturday night is spent at your own residence.

What about meals?
Meals are provided by the parish.

What type of clothing is expected?
Casual and comfortable clothing is recommended.

Will I be able to attend Mass on Sunday?
There will be a celebration of Mass on the weekend. Additionally, the Sacrament of Reconciliation will be provided for anyone who desires it.

Who conducts the weekend?
The CRHP weekend is conducted by parishioners who have already experienced the weekend and who have met, prayed, and prepared for the experience to be memorable and uplifting.

Are there costs for the weekend?
No, just your time and an open heart.
