"Take this ring,
in the name of the Father,
and the Son, and the Holy Spirit."
"The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament." (Code of Canon Law, can. 1055 §1; cf. Gaudium et Spes 48 §1.)

Any couple wishing to marry at St. Raphael Catholic Church must be registered members of the parish, or their parents must be registered members, for at least three months prior to inquiry. Before any date may be reserved, a couple must have an initial meeting with one of our priests. There are a number of additional diocesan and parish requirements for marriage preparation which will be discussed at your first meeting.
